The DAED Disturbo DS-1 Processing Pedal
The Disturbo DS-1 is a modified Boss DS-1 distortion pedal. While this can function as a normal distortion pedal with the modification off you'll never want to once you hear the cacophonous creations this creature concocts (Dig the ample alliteration!)
We add a dual toggle (on-off-on) that offers two different flavors of inside-the-hurricane noise including a HEAVY load fuzz which can operate as a subharmonic synthesizer in some settings as well as a high pass (telephone booth) filter effect for processing. As if that wasn't enough there is a s ingle switch that allows you to play the pedal as a theremin by itself from the knobs on it alone or keep the oscillation going and freak out with, over, and behind it.
Just for kicks we threw in a sexy glowing orange LED light to match the fire within.

The Boss DS-1 pedal is one of the most plentiful and solid used effects boxes around and can be foun d quite inexpensively. Turn your DS-1 into the DAED DISTURBO and add a new secret life to your old pal.

Please Note: The following prices are available if you supply the DS1 pedal. Complete new Disturbos with all the fixin's are available as well (see bottom of list).
Orgasm Oscillator Mod - $20 This adds a single on/off switch which turns on the internal oscillator. The pitch can be tuned via the Distortion Knob and the waveform/tone is controlled by the Tone knob.
External Processing mods - $25 This add a two way toggle (On/Off/On) which creates a high pass filter type effect (Ear Paint Thinner) as well as a Fuzz/Ringmod type sound (ThickHotSauce mod). These are VERY freaky and depending where you set the tone and distortion knobs you can get a monstrous or reedy sound. The Synth type effect works best on the middle to upper strings and adds a subharmonic pitch to your notes. Everything is very interactive and experimentation is the key. These are great for processing drum machines, vocals, synthesizers, tape loops, etc.
All Modifications to existing DS1 - $40 Includes ThickHotSauce, Ear Paint Thinner, and Orgasm Oscillator mods.
Add Orange LED - $5 to any combination of mods. Other colors may be available, Please inquire.

The Bass Theremin is an unusual take on the typical high pitched warbling Theremin. Our instrument is a pitch only optical unit that clocks down to pulsing frequencies allowing users to make percussiveclicking and buzzing sounds in addition to the more conventional middle to high pitched range. Useful for beats or as a noise source into other effects (our Disturbo DS-1 pedalfor example) the DAED Bass Theremin is handheld, runs on a single 9vt battery,and features a built in speaker with on/off switch, power switch, blinking light indicator, and 1/8" output.
