Adrian Belew played with his latest trio featuring Eric and Julie
Slick from the School of Rock all Stars founded here in Philadelphia. It
was quite a magical night as it was not only a sort of homecoming for the
band but he felt inspired to do material he hasn't done on tour this year.
I tried to capture some of the kinetic energy in these photos. As with
my work before I start slowly and build a bit depending on the music. There
is s short live video from the show on this page as well which I
think captures some of the true joy and humility of this great musician.
